When you buy items that we send to you
Available shipping options will be displayed at check out. We will simplify those options as much as possible, and some items might only have a default shipping method available.
We will only list items that are in stock, and so aim to ship all orders within 3 working days of receiving them. If we foresee this not to be possible for your order, we will contact you as soon as possible to give you our best estimate.
You are responsible for inputting the right address where we will ship the items you purchase. For the shipping methods that support it, you will receive tracking information to the email address you specified at checkout once the item has been shipped. This will be a separate message to the one confirming your order.
When you purchase a send-in service
You are responsible for shipping the system you want us to service in adequate packaging to our address. An email will be sent to you after purchase with some suggestions about how to do this as well as shipping details. The cost of you shipping your system to us is not included in the price of the service.
The shipping we do charge for this service is to send the console back to you when the service is finished. To the extent possible, we will use the same packaging material you used to send the system to us in the first place. We will replace packaging material if it is damaged when we receive it at no cost to you.
An email will be sent to you after the purchase of a send-in service with our PO Box address. Please use this address to send us your console. We recommend that you use a tracked method. It is your responsibility to ensure that the courier or shipping company you use can deliver to PO Boxes. The PO Box we use has secure storage, and we will also let you know as soon as we receive the item.
How shipping is calculated
We only ship with methods that allow tracking of your item, even if those methods might not be the most economical with the providers we use. However we will normally not send parcels that require signing on reception, unless the particular shipping class and destination of the parcel bundles both tracking and signing.
Shipping cost are calculated according to destination, item class and shipping method. For example, a shipment to France (destination) qualifying as small parcel (item class) with Royal Mail International Tracked (shipping method). Countries are clustered by zones or similar shipping costs, and item classes take into consideration both weight and size. We will choose the cheapest item class availble for the item you are ordering.
We will only charge the shipping cost of the most expensive shipping class for all the items in your cart. For example, if you order a console send-in service and a modchip, we will only charge for shipping the console. However, if you buy multiple heavy items or services for multiple consoles as part of the same purchase, we might need to charge extra if the total weight or size of the parcel significantly surpases the shipping class of the most expensive shipping method in the cart . In this case we will contact you after your purchase to explain this, with the option for cancellation of the order if you disagree with the extra costs.
International Shipping
Where is possible for us to estimate shipping fees for addresses outside of the UK, these will be available at check out. If no shipping option is available, please contact us in advance to discuss if we can support your purchase in any other way.
We cannot be responsible for custom fees and / or taxes at the border of the UK (if you purchase a send-in service) or for other countries (when we buy items that we send to you). Please ensure you understand the relevant country’s custom policies, taxes and fees before you make a purchase in our shop.
When required to declare the type of contents and value of the items we are shipping to you, we will always use the true cost and description of the items you purchased when filling in the declaration forms. If you have ordered a service for a console you are sending to us, the default declared cost for the return shipping will be the price of the services you have purchased, not the console. If you would like us to also declare the price of the console, please let us know at ordering time. The declared value might affect the taxes or custom fees you will pay as the parcel enters your country, and also the amount we will be able to claim should the parcel be damaged or lost in transit.
Compensation for lost or damaged items
We will only be responsible for damage or loss of items that we send to you, either because you purchased an item from us, or because we are retrurning an item to you after servicing it. We will not be responsible for items you are sending us.
The terms and conditions of the shipping depend on the type of shipping you select at checkout. Please check the table below for more information about maximum compensation that can be claimed per shipping method. Not all shipping methods are available for all items and all countries.

Compensation can only be claimed if sufficient evidence is made available to the shipping company. For example, in case of damage of items that have reached you, we will need to obtain photos of the damage. To claim compensation on items you have sent us for service, we will also need proof of the value of the item, while we will be able to provide evidence of any parts we might have purchased for you. Other evidence might be required. For international shipping, the amount of compensation will be dictated by the declared value, as mentioned in the section “International Shipping”
If you need cover beyond the above mentioned compensation, on items that we are sending to you, please let us know before ordering and we might be able to offer a different shipping class. This might have an extra cost, which will be communicated to you for your decision.
Other information
Either us or the shipping company will send tracking information to you through the email provided at check out. Please use the tracking to estimate how long the item will take to reach you, as this depend on destination and shipping method.
