What do you get with this service?
The installation of a modchip for the Original Xbox using the LPC port. All version of the Original Xbox are included in this service even if different versions need slightly different work (like LPC port rebuild).
This service will also test the successful installation of the modchip.
Things you can do with a modded Original Xbox:
- Play region-free backup games directly from the HDD
- Conect remotely via FTP
- Run homebrew apps such as emulators
- Run different dashboards and configure how your user interface looks like
- Connect to the oline software repository
- Play region free DVD movies
What you don’t get with this service
This is not a repair service. Please ensure your system is fully functional as stated in our Terms and Conditions, or contact us before purchasing the service if unsure what will be covered.
The modchip itself is not included . Please provide a modchip at the same time as you send your console in, or add one of the modchips in our shop to your cart when you purchase the service. We will however provide any consumables required to install the modchip, although if you are sending in the chip, please include the female pinheader if possible. Examples of modchips you can instal include our own Topvint ModXo, Aladdin, Stellar, or OpenXenium.
You might want to consider purchasing also an HDD install service, for example, to upgrade your Hard Disk with the right partitions and alternative dashboards.
Shipping
You are responsible for shipping the system in adequate packaging to our address. An email will be sent to you after purchase with some suggestions about how to do this as well as shipping details. The cost of you shipping your system to us is not included in the price of the service.
The shipping we do charge for this service is to send the console back to you when the service is finished. To the extent possible, we will use the same packaging material you used to send the system to us in the first place. We will replace packaging material if it is damaged when we receive it at no cost to you.

Package installs are also available which bundle multiple installation into one more economic purchase.
