A completely refurbished v1.1 Original Xbox that ha been previously modded with an Xecuter 2.6 modchip (current with EvoX M7 BIOS in one of the two available banks). The HDD had also been replaced with a 40GB Maxtor, and the DVD drive has also been refurbished and works well.
The console has undertaken a complete TLC treatment including
- Wash with soap and water all plastic parts and metal shields
- Clean the motherboard, the PSU and the heatsink(s) with compressed air, brushes and non-conductive liquids
- Cleaning and lubrication of the DVD drive. The rubber drive belts has also been replaced.
- Cleaning and oiling of the main fan and changing thermal paste from CPU and GPU
- Removing scratches, polishing and apply a plastic protector as well as polish the jewel for extra shine!
- The metal shield has also been de-rusted and repainted.
- The CPU capacitors have been replaced by new high-quality ones.
- AV and power ports have been resoldered for extra strength
The console is in good cosmetic condition but it still has some small dents and scratches.
Things you can do with a modded Original Xbox:
- Play region-free backup games directly from the HDD
- Connect remotely via FTP
- Run homebrew apps such as emulators
- Run different dashboards and configure how your user interface looks like
- Connect to the online software repository
- Play region free DVD movies
This is originally a PAL console from the UK and therefore expects 220v as input. If you are planning to use this console in a country that uses 110v, you will need a step up transformer or will need to swap the internal PSU for one of the same model from your region.
