Black PlayStation Slim (model SCPH-70003) hardmoded with a Modbo 5.0 modchip.
The modchip will allow you to play any PS1 or PS2 game disc, original or backup, regardless of the region, by just inserting the disc. While software-based solutions like FreeMcBoot would support most of these functionality, this modchip offers an easier and more compatible experience overall.
Things you can do with a hard modded PS2
- Play any regions discs by just inserting them into the console
- Play back-up games
- Control some aspects of the PS2 operation such as video outputs and boot modes.
This console has been thoroughly cleaned and refurbished through the same process we offer in our TLC Refurbishment service. This includes replacing the battery, cleaning and lubricating the laser mechanism and washing and protecting the plastic casing.
Please note that while the overall conditions is good, the console does have some scratches and dents, and the label at the bottom of the console is aged. Please look at the photos carefully and ask questions if in doubt.
