What do you get with this service?
The installation of an in-game-reset for your Playstation 1, generally compatible with Playstation 1, PsOne, X-Station and PSIO. The in-game-reset mod is based on work by PyroESP and is available open source here.
This mod allows you to rest your console using your controller or light-gun, which is convenient for Optical Drive Emulators like X-Station or PSIO, as it allows you to access the games menu without physically resetting your console.
Button combination for the controller is:
- L2 + R2 + SELECT + START, for a short reset pulse
- L2 + R2 + SELECT + CROSS, for a long reset pulse, since V1.2
The lightgun combination is:
- A + B + TRIGGER, for a long reset pulse
What you don’t get with this service
This is not a repair service. Please ensure your system is fully functional as stated in our Terms and Conditions, or contact us before purchasing the service if unsure what will be covered.
We do not sell the in-game-reset modchip itself. You can source this from the likes of Consoles Unleashed or Retroupgrades in the UK.
Shipping
You are responsible for shipping the system in adequate packaging to our address. An email will be sent to you after purchase with some suggestions about how to do this as well as shipping details. The cost of you shipping your system to us is not included in the price of the service.
The shipping we do charge for this service is to send the console back to you when the service is finished. To the extent possible, we will use the same packaging material you used to send the system to us in the first place. We will replace packaging material if it is damaged when we receive it at no cost to you.
