This order was for the TLC of a phat white Xbox 360, a slim black Xbox 360, and a phat PS2. The consoles were dirty but overall in good condition. The PS2 however didn’t recognise any discs, and the white xbox 360 got damaged in transit.
White Xbox 360
The console had a lot of fluff and dust inside
The thermal past was changes and the shell and plastic parts washed with water and soap
The DVD drive was then cleaned, lubricated and belt changed
The broken part in the faceplate was fixed with clear epoxy
Black Xbox 360
The console was also dirty but not as dirty as the white xbox. Same process as the white console.
Playstation 2
Similar process with this console, but instead of thermal paste, it thermal pads. This console also has a battery that was also replaced.
The DVD drive of this console wouldn’t work, not even recognise the disc, regardless what type of disc. Customer had tried to adjust this already, and the cog mechanism was worn and was difficult to turn. Customer sent a replacement laser which was replaced, but made no different regardless of the adjustments in the cog. Nevertheless the drive was cleaned and lubricated, but unfortunately it doesn’t work.
All the consoles are now ready to send back.
